Education Innovation
Designing new ways of educating together
with schools and communities
There is a growing need to support young people beyond academic performance alone. We work alongside schools and local communities to design and pilot different ways of educating and approaches that strengthen youth agency, civic-mindedness, and future readiness.

Education Innovation is where we test, learn, and refine these approaches within real-world contexts, in close partnership with educators.

Our Beliefs
Our Education Innovation work is guided by a set of core beliefs that shape how we design and partner:
1
Young people are more than their grades
Learning should reflect students’ strengths, interests, values, and lived experiences.
2
Agency grows when young people are seen and heard
When students are invited to reflect on and share their learning, they develop confidence and ownership.
3
Education is a shared responsibility
Schools, families, and communities all play a role in supporting young people’s development.
4
Education systems can be further evolved
With care, collaboration, and experimentation, familiar structures can become more human and meaningful.
What We Are Exploring?
Enhancing the Report Book Design
We are exploring ways to broaden how student growth is represented, moving beyond academic results to include strengths, interests, and applied learning.

Strengths and personality profiles

Recognition of volunteering and extracurricular participation

Project documentation highlighting non-academic skills
Together, these elements offer families a more complete picture of who a student is becoming.
Redesigning the Parent-Teacher Meeting
We are rethinking the parent–teacher meeting as a moment of connection rather than evaluation.

Pre-meeting reflection prompts for parents and students
Student showcases that celebrate learning beyond grades
Experience design elements that foster joy, dialogue, and care
These shifts support richer, more hopeful conversations about student growth.
These initiatives are being piloted in partnership with St Andrew’s School (Secondary). Together, we are testing these ideas in real school contexts, learning from students and families, and refining how schools can more holistically support student growth.
