Third Spaces
in Partnership with MCCY
Supporting youth development through community-based connection and participation

Third Spaces is a community development initiative delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth
(MCCY).

The partnership works within existing community structures to create opportunities for young people to come together, form meaningful friendships, and participate actively in community life
Through these experiences, Third Spaces supports the development of agency, belonging, and the capabilities to shape their own lives and communities.

The Third Spaces Project
Third Spaces operates as a shared community platform that sits alongside school and home, providing young people with accessible spaces to connect, explore interests, and spend time together in supportive environments.

Belonging within the neighbourhood and wider community
Where are we located?

The Third Spaces project currently operates across two community locations in Singapore. Both locations share the same values and approach, while responding to the needs and contexts of their respective neighbourhoods.
